ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 1

Upon your arrival at JULIUS KAMBARAGE NYERERE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (JKIA) DAR ES SALAAM or from the hotel at Dar es Salaam you will be met at 07:00am by a member of DASSIE SAFARIS team who will transfer you by road to VUMA HILLS/STANLEY’S KOPJE CAMP in Mikumi National Park, with lunch at picnic site. Enjoy meals and overnight stay at the camp. What we love about the VUMA HILLS/STANLEY’S CAMP is that it’s found within the park, set near a water hole which encourages you to set your eyes on the game which are attracted to come and quench their thirsty, great wildlife viewing around Mwanamboga, warm and professional staff plus their outstanding and reliable services. On reaching your accommodation relax from a strenuous drive, in a swimming pool to cool off

DAY 2

After a warm breakfast at the camp at around 08:00 am, start a full day game drive within MIKUMI national park, enjoy what the park has to offer, the open horizons teemed with wildlife make it to be nicknamed “THE MINI SERENGETI” among other areas, varied habitats and terrain, all of the southern parks are less frequented, making animals to act feral and giving you real taste of being in the African wilderness. With lunch at picnic site, after lunch do a short game drive, then embark to the camp. Enjoy meals, dinner and overnight stay at camp. DAY 3

After a warm breakfast at the camp at around 08:00am, drive to SELOUS JIMBIZA CAMP in Nyerere National Park with lunch box within. On arriving in the park do an en-route game drive while heading to the camp for relaxation from strenuous long drives of about 8 hours. Enjoy meals, dinner and overnight stay at camp.

DAY 4

After a warm breakfast at the camp at around 08:00 am, start a full day game drive within the park with lunch at picnic site. Enjoy the best of Nyerere National Park in a 4WD extended and spacious, pop-up safari jeep, traverse through its varied habitats and terrains. After lunch do a short game drive, then embark to camp. Enjoy meals, dinner and overnight stay at camp.

DAY 5

After an early breakfast at camp at around 06:00 am, enjoy a walking safari within this beautiful park, experience the up-close viewing and photographing of African wild animals, some starring at you, some seem puzzled while others dashes away to avoid a very close range with you, accompanied by an armed ranger this is among the most thrilling moments. Return to the camp at late morning (10:00 am), then depart to Dar es Salaam with lunch box within, drop of at either airport, hotel or seaport. End of service
